Trade shows are effective venues for many businesses to promote their products and services. And promotional giveaways such as your brochure printing, are probably the most significant tools to have when exhibiting in trade shows.

Nevertheless, many businesses commit the mistake of handing out ‘unworthy’ collaterals that only get disposed of as quickly as they are handed out. Many marketers forget that it’s not enough that one is printing brochures; brochure printing that provides quality materials should be the priority of any business owner.

Now is the time to be especially vigilant when printing brochures. As everybody is looking for value for their hard-earned money during the economic crunch, it is but appropriate that you also provide quality collaterals to avoid being dumped by your target clients.

Don’t just spend your resources on promotional giveaways that do not get the job done. Instead, make sure that you provide your target clients with collaterals that are functional and are reusable. Not only will you be recognized but also you stand a good chance of increasing your being retained in the minds of your prospects.

Do indulge on products, such as brochure printing materials, that can also double as functional items for your target clients. The key is to have them use your giveaways so they can see it regularly. Remember that collaterals that are seen on a daily basis are those most likely to provide you with the biggest returns.

On the other hand, do not also waste your time on printing brochures or producing any promotional giveaways that just don’t specifically target your market. You need to be particular in your purpose. When you print brochures for example, be sure that your prospects would be interested in what you have to offer. Not everyone would be appreciative of your collaterals. The more precise you are when targeting your clients, the less wastage you have especially on your budget.

Similarly, don’t just give your collaterals to anybody who happens to walk by your booth during the trade show. Be discriminating when you hand out your full color brochures. More than likely that half of your collaterals will be disposed of if you give them to those who don’t have a need for your type of business. These would only add up to the wasted resources you’ve invested when printing brochures.

The key is to target your efforts efficiently so you’ll be able to get more value from the collaterals you’ve given away, instead of getting prospects that are only interested in taking home a freebie or two.
